Museum of Art, Washington State University, Pullman
The Museum of Art/WSU will serve as a beacon for the cultural life of Washington State University and the Inland Pacific Northwest. The Museum of Art at Washington State University is committed to fostering premier educational experiences through meaningful encounters with creativity and innovation. To accomplish that mission, we raise funds from a variety of sources in order to: Advance creative research by artists, scholars and students; Extend knowledge and inspiration through exhibitions, books, educational programs and public outreach; and Preserve a lasting artistic legacy of the 20th and 21stcenturies through our permanent collections.
Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, Spokane
The Eastern Washington State Historical Society was founded in 1916 as a Washington not-for-profit corporation, and designated a trustee of the State for collecting historical documents and artifacts in 1926. The Society first received State funding in 1937, opened the privately-funded Cheney Cowles Museum in 1960, and was given Legislative authority to collect regional art in 1973. In 2024, the Society opened a new exhibit hall and changed its public name to the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture - now popularly known as the MAC. The MAC is one of Washington's five Smithsonian Affiliates and is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). The MAC's purpose is to inspire and foster understanding of the history, cultures, communities, commerce and art of the Inland Northwest.

SAM has been the center for world-class visual arts in the Pacific Northwest since 1933. Tacoma Art Museum, Tacoma
Celebrating 80 years, Tacoma Art Museum is an anchor in the city’s downtown and a gathering place for connecting people through art via thoughtful exhibitions, exciting events, and enriching programs. The museum’s collection of more than 4,500 works emphasizes the art and artists of the Northwest and broader western region. The TAM aspires to be a national model for regional museums by creating a dynamic museum that engages, inspires, and builds community through art.
Western Gallery, Western Washington University, Bellingham
The Western Gallery provides diverse experiences in the visual arts for its constituencies, encompassing the University community and region while providing a point of reference to the national and international art scene. Through historical, contemporary and experimental art exhibitions, through the outdoor collection of contemporary sculpture, through publications and through interpretative interdisciplinary programs, the Western Gallery is committed to creating an environment for learning. The gallery acts as a center for discussion and exchange of ideas on critical issues in contemporary art. The Western Gallery recognizes its role in expanding its audience's awareness of the visual arts as central to the dynamic and pluralistic nature of our society.

The Whatcom Museum provides innovative and interactive educational programs and exhibitions about art, nature and Northwest history. We seek to stimulate curiosity about our changing cultural, natural and historical landscapes, for the youngest to the oldest minds, and to inspire preservation of and creative contributions to our region and beyond.
